NEL Frequency Controls, Inc. offers an expanded selection of standard and custom manufactured frequency control products. As a leading source of VCXO (Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator) technology and the world's largest ECL clock oscillator supplier, NEL specializes in custom crystal oscillators. NEL also utilizes surface mount and spread spectrum technologies, and provides oscillators to meet demanding gigabit ethernet and EMI suppression applications.

Clock Oscillators
NEL provides oscillators from 244Hz to 600MHz, with SMD to 250MHz in TTL, CMOS, ECL and PECL compatible logics with available three-state enable/disable and dual/complementary outputs. Packaging options include both surface mount and through-hole options.

Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillators (VCXO)
NEL designs and manufactures VCXO technology up to 155 MHz. Packaging options include both surface mount and through-hole. NEL provides VCXOs in TTL, CMOS, HCMOS, ECL and PECL compatible logics with three-state enable/disable and dual/complementary output options.

NEL VCXOs feature crystal oscillator stabilities from ±20 PPM over a 0-70°C ambient range and with pullability yields up to 500 PPM/Volt. NEL produces VCXOs in standard DIP packages in 1/2 (8 pin), full (14 pin) and double-wide (16 pin) sizes as through-hole device or SMD gull wing, and in surface mount featuring ceramic with J-lead .200" x .300" footprint.
